Outfit: christmas sweater

Christmas is officially over and we are counting our days for the new year to come. I feel like I was still not done wearing christmas sweaters. It's comfy, cozy and hides all my winter fats ;)
Well, I still try to find some excuses to wear it inside home.

Traditional side of me

Once in a while I like getting dolled up in a traditional attire. It takes so much energy with all the draping of a saree, deciding on accessories, putting on make up but at the end of the day it's worth it.

keeping it casual

My cutout denim shirt is making a comeback again. This has been my go- to tops whenever I feel like I want something casual. Here, I paired it with a plain black jeggings and a flip flop. Now, nothings is more casual than a loose demin shirt, jeggings and flipflops, right?

I cant wait for summer to come back back. I am getting tired of the cold weather of New Jersey. Do you guys feel like you miss summer during winter and winter during summer? I feel that way all the time after the excitement of new season slowly starts to fade away.

I was starting to pose for photoes at this particular day but it started to rain.It was freezing cold so couldn't take more photoes. These photoes were taken from my galaxy s4.

I was lazy to think too much for my outfit so I grabbed whatever I saw in front of my eyes. Everything I wore on this outfit is from Nepal. The woolen infinity scarf was made by my mommy dearest. Its not actually infinity but I tied up all the fringes on both edges and made it an infinity scarf.

This is the most worn and worn out boots of the season for me. This has been my go to shoes for the winter. I love the messy looks of it and fact is that its so comfy. Do u have a go to shoes for this season?

Out in the Snow

It snowed like crazy the previous day. I love the snow only when I don't have to go to work. And that day was perfect. It was my day off yayyyyy. The weather was perfect with sunrise after the snowing previous day. And it was not much cold. As my hubby was busy cleaning the vehicle I was busy clicking pictures. I love layering up during winter. It helps me stay warm with style.

Fashion Illustration of the Day

Today's illustration was inspired from an amazing fashion illustrator, Hayden Williams. I love his work. He defines a true beauty of a women with elegance and poise through his illustration. There's never a dull moment going through his artwork.

The illustration on the left is Hayden's and the right one is mine. Well, there's no comparison between me and him whatsoever. But I thought of posting it anyway. I posted this on Instagram right after I finished it and tagged him. And guess what??

He liked my picture on my instagram. yeppieeee !!!

It might not be a big deal for others. But it was for me.

I know it's a long way to go to be as close to good as him. But it's not impossible. I will keep trying. So, guys I would like to know your views on this. How do u rate my illustration on the scale of 1 - 10. Tell me in the comments below.
