how have you been doing?

As for me, I recently joined a design competition on facebook which is conducted by a company called Project Wolof. It's a small fair trade business that focuses on handmade products from Wolof Community. To know more about it , you can click the link >> Project Wolof

Now coming back to the competition, it's a competition based on votes. I had to design a bag using leather as main material.You will be able to find more about my design in the link below. Met Gala 2014 : Illustrated

Greeting my lovelies

Met Gala is one of the most hyped and star studded event in New York that happens every year. Each year they have a new theme. This year's theme was Charles James : Beyond Fashion. We witnessed some beautiful dreamy gowns worn by the stars for this beneficial fashion event.

Thus I sat down and started illustrating some of my favorite ones. I am going to share this with you today .

Illustrations of the day

Greetings my lovelies
It's now time for an illustration. This particular sketch took more time than my other illustration that i posted before. I like creating abstract backdrops for my illustrations. I don't know what is it with me and red shoes, but whenever I start coloring I end of coloring the shoes red all the time. It feels weird because I personally don't own even a pair of red shoes. Maybe it's a sign that it's time for me to add a pair of red shoe in my shoe collection.

Fashion Illustration of the Day

Today's illustration was inspired from an amazing fashion illustrator, Hayden Williams. I love his work. He defines a true beauty of a women with elegance and poise through his illustration. There's never a dull moment going through his artwork.

The illustration on the left is Hayden's and the right one is mine. Well, there's no comparison between me and him whatsoever. But I thought of posting it anyway. I posted this on Instagram right after I finished it and tagged him. And guess what??

He liked my picture on my instagram. yeppieeee !!!

It might not be a big deal for others. But it was for me.

I know it's a long way to go to be as close to good as him. But it's not impossible. I will keep trying. So, guys I would like to know your views on this. How do u rate my illustration on the scale of 1 - 10. Tell me in the comments below.

Doodles all the way

Greetings my lovelies

How many of you starts to doodle whenever you have a pen and a paper in front of you? Im one of them . Give me a pen or a pencil , my hand urges me to doodle . It has become a habit actually .

I'm here with a quick post of my doodling habit. This is from my little diary that I always carry with me. If I have a spare time or some long waits at certain places I grab this diary and start doodling. I use it even when I'm home.

For this particular doodle I have used several pens and it took a long time to finish compared to my other random doodles.

So , lets get on to my illustration, shall we?

Coloured-Vogue

Charcoal lady

Today I present to you a charcoal illustration. To be honest I don't really like working with charcoal pencil. It's such a mess to work with. I had this picture on my cell for quiet a while and I was too lazy to  use my brain for any new ideas. Thus, I illustrated the picture on my notepad with the charcoal pencil

Long Time Gap

Greetings my lovelies

How have you been? Im extremely sorry for being away from blogsphere. I had been super busy with my shopping , packing and travelling. I flew from Nepal to United States on 30th June. This is why I was not able to give time to my blog. And also I didnt have enough stationery supplies with me for my sketches. The sketches below are two of my recent rough sketches from my notepad. I know its a little rough but I promise I,ll be posting fair sketches pretty soon and oh yes '' often '' too.
