Product Review: Bornprettystore

I am not much into online shopping, I would rather go to the store try on and buy it. But this particular website changed my mind. I am big time sucker when it comes to jewelry & accessories. If I find some cute and pretty jewelry, I have to buy it even if I don't wear it often.

And oh my gosh ,,,they have so much varieties to choose from. I couldn't make up my mind about which one to choose . On top of that the shipping charge was free. Now what more can you ask for more than this, right? Wrong.....You will also get a 10% off on your purchase if you use the code NUT10 on your checkout. 

Bornprettystore was kind enough to send me the items of my choice for reviews. Below I have three items for their site that I will be reviewing on this blog. One of which is from their makeup collection and the other two is from their jewelry & accessories.

I like collecting beautiful jewelry and these two pieces were my new addition. The quality is really good ( much more than I expected). I was a little worried about the ear cuff that it might not fit well. But it fitted perfectly. The statement necklace has decent length with black details. I cant wait to mix it up with my outfits.

I am not a foundation person but I really wanted this kind of blender for my bb creme. It blends really well leaving my skin soft and shiny. I even tried it with my moisturizers and it works perfectly. I am definitely going it order more of this. My cutout denim shirt is making a comeback again. This has been my go- to tops whenever I feel like I want something casual. Here, I paired it with a plain black jeggings and a flip flop. Now, nothings is more casual than a loose demin shirt, jeggings and flipflops, right?

Competition

Met Gala 2014 : Illustrated

Met Gala is one of the most hyped and star studded event in New York that happens every year. Each year they have a new theme. This year's theme was Charles James : Beyond Fashion. We witnessed some beautiful dreamy gowns worn by the stars for this beneficial fashion event.

Thus I sat down and started illustrating some of my favorite ones. I am going to share this with you today .

Illustrations of the day

It's now time for an illustration. This particular sketch took more time than my other illustration that i posted before. I like creating abstract backdrops for my illustrations. I don't know what is it with me and red shoes, but whenever I start coloring I end of coloring the shoes red all the time. It feels weird because I personally don't own even a pair of red shoes. Maybe it's a sign that it's time for me to add a pair of red shoe in my shoe collection.

Snow snow snow

I was excited to see the first snow since I had never experienced it but for now I have had it enough. Im seriously looking forward to spring. But there's one advantage of the heavy snow though, It acts as an amazing backdrop for photos. This explains my enthusiasm for striking a pose in this depressing cold weather while I was heading to work.
